MAINE HERITAGE TIMBER FRAMES

Est. 2016

Our team of skilled craftspeople combines traditional techniques with years of experience to create timber frames that are not only beautiful but also built to last. Each frame meets the distinctive needs and vision of our clients, and we take great care to imbue our work with the architectural vernacular of our region.  Our frames are comprised of locally available timber, ensuring the tradition of New England’s rich building legacy while supporting regional forest industries.

Our Process

Our design philosophy emphasizes creating connected and harmonious spaces that are both beautiful and functional, rooted in careful planning and attention to detail throughout the design process.

Design & Planning

We handcraft our timber frames at our shop in Lisbon Falls, Maine, using traditional joinery techniques. Each joint is meticulously shaped to create a strong, interlocking structure without the use of nails or screws.

Timber Framing

We start by designing structures with the end goal of raising in mind. Our well-thought-out frames have efficient plans to ensure a smooth and safe building process.
